Our Granddaughter's Arrival

Erin Patricia Whitehead born April 20th in Chicago weighed in at 8 lbs 15 oz. and 21 inches long. What a cutie. Jennifer and Erin are both doing great and are now at home. Ben is calling her "Pickle", we are not sure why but he is 3 and I guess that is how a person gets a nickname. Tom and I are both so excited to have another Grandchild. The more the merrier. We will be planning a trip soon to Chicago. I hope Jennifer has time to update her Blog as I know she will have lots of stories to share with two of them. I am sure Ben is asking a million questions a minute. Happy Days for the Jones Family.

Sadie gets a Haircut

Yes, This is the same dog. Long overdue, Sadie got a haircut today at PetCo. She was a good girl and even got to pick out her own toy. She was really more interested in leaving so she could find a place to pee.

SpaceFace

OK, I know it isn't called SpaceFace but with "My Space" and "Face Book " it get so confusing so I just call it Space Face. Thanks to my many pictures I found this space face picture of Heather from many years ago. I have had a My Space account but didn't really care for it so much so Nora suggested I needed a Face Book account as that is where it is happening. So, I am on there now and it is fun to talk to everyone and see their pictures and what they are doing right now. I mean important stuff like taking a shower or drinking, going to work, had a bad day, feeding the baby or watching someone make a prono ( I think that was Nora), . So if you ever wonder what I am up to please log on and be my friend because I am sure I will be doing something you are all so envious of.

OK, I know you are all saying what is she saying about Nora watching someone make a prono and you are all trying at once to log onto her "Wall" to see what she said. It is a movie, a comedy about making a prono to make money that I guess is hilarious so I will have to rent it and check it out. I will make sure and let you all know on Face Book when I am watching it of course. This might be a lot of pressure put on all of us now that we have to remember to tell everyone what we are going to do before or while we are doing it but please keep me posted on your where abouts as I do like to keep track of all my "Friends". The things I do to stay in "The in Crowd".

BINGO

Really not a lot of excitement since Christmas to update on except we have discovered BINGO. Right next door to us is the Super D BINGO hall. When Nora and Chris came to visit on a snowy cold night we ventured over there to check things out. None of us really knew what we were doing so we just walked around and bought cards and daubers, oh yes, daubers. They are only a dollar a piece for the basic dauber, but you can upgrade for 50 cents more for a"Brilliant" one that really doesn't do much in helping you win, just ask Tom. Chris that night came very close to winning a game, but unfortunately we have learned that close in BINGO doesn't count.

Tom and I have ventured over a couple more times with no Bingo's to our name but it very inexpensive and a fun few hours. I of course enjoy the people watching and Tom found the Pull Tabs which he won $120.00 on. Oh yes, I can't forget the 'fabulous' snack bar with the paper plate numbers on a long pole that you take back to your table and they deliver your order of fried foods.

I really didn't know there was so much to daubing a few numbers. There are different levels of winning that we haven't fully figured out and what a PIG is? Whatever it is, it costs you an extra dollar and they say it is a good thing, so we do it each time. The only good thing we have found out is that we are dollar shorter at the end of the night which I guess is a good thing for them. They come up with creative names for the games like stamp, kite, large frame, 'D', 4,5,6 and they have some games we haven't really figured out including the electronic version which looks intriguing. We may need Billy to come play with us to try that as we may need lots of training. We did increase last week to two cards each and boy that is a lot of daubing. So just in case nothing else entices you to come to Yakima remember there is always BINGO and maybe by then we will be experts and hopefully winners!!!!
