A Lot Has Happened

A lot has happened since I started this Blog. Nora and Chris got married and it was a beautiful ceremony and reception was a blast. We all had a great time celebrating with them. They both did a fantastic job in putting the day together.

We then got to spend a couple days with Todd, Jennifer and our wonderful Grandson Ben at our Rochester home. He is amazing, and of course wish we could see them all more but we make the best of the time we have when they are here.

After the wedding Tom and I decided we needed to consolidate our living arrangements to only two places instead of three. We rented a duplex in Yakima moved Tom's stuff from that awful apartment he was renting with the help of Justin , Kenny and Billy. Had the movers come and pack us up and emptied out our home in Rochester. And now I am driving up to Everett mid-week from Yakima. It is 60 miles further but the drive is much better then going south on I-5 through all those cities at rush hour. I will be working from my home office mostly full time when the snow starts. I will really miss the Koetje's in Stanwood, my second home. They are the best. The new place is a lot smaller than our house so the 2 car garage is stacked as high as can be with the "left overs" even after we gave a ton of stuff to Billy.

Billy moved to Wenatchee and is living with his friends, Kenny, Joe and Justin in a large house and working at Local Tel. He is doing server maintenance and stuff with computers, you know me I am not sure on all the technical terms. They gave him a car to drive and he is very happy to be settled down and making a living doing what he knows best. Billy's Birthday was September 15th and he turned 29. No more for him, it is making me old.....
September 15th Tom and I celebrated our 35th Wedding Anniversary. Where have all the years gone? I feel we are only 35 !!! I was at a meeting in Seattle so on the following Friday we went out to a very nice restaurant in Yakima called the "Greystone".
Nora came to visit us in Yakima when Chris was up "picnicking" with Tony. It was fun, she tried out the guest bedroom. So if any of you are heading through Yakima, please stop in, guest room is open.

Goodbye for now and hopefully I will post more often.
